“Aroona” aboriginal for “Running Water”. Aroona and his sibling Morilla are white desert Dingoes from the Northern Territory. They arrived at the Sanctuary in September 2019. Desert Dingoes appear smaller than the Alpine Dingo; they don’t have as much bone mass and are less bushy in the coat and tail.
Aroona is a character, he is both Mr Cool and very proud and statuesque, some say he should have a mirror so he can admire himself all day. He lives with the very active Binda who was rescued by the RSPCA before being brought here.
