“Allira” aboriginal for “Daughter”. Allira was given to the Dingo Sanctuary together with Gili by the Australia Zoo in 2016. Both weren’t great with people and needed special attention, something Luci does well. Allira was incredibly timid with all people however our volunteers have gone to great lengths to socialise her to the point where she now comes up to people for a pat.
Allira has partnered successfully with Chipala. Allira is also quite vocal when nobody is watching, she likes to put on a howling performance – it’s quite eerie to listen to!
